Head Coach Rex Ryan has put it out there; they will win the Super Bowl. He even went so far as to put it in writing. Ryan, who may be a bit overconfident, seems to have forgotten about injuries which can happen to any and every team. The team has moved into their new digs shared with the New York Giants, the New Meadowland Stadium. The new stadium will hold 82,566 fans and will host Super Bowl XLVIII in the year 2014. The team is still at odds with its star cornerback Darrell Revis, who is holding out for a better contract. Coach Ryan has made it clear that he wants his player back on the field. "This is what I would like to have happen," Ryan said recently. "(I want) everyone to put their cards on the table. Have Darrell come here with anyone he wants and we will have (owner) Mr. (Woody) Johnson here. This is how I would handle it -- we'll call off practice (and) we'll have our whole team there. That way there is no he said, she said, and we'll get the thing done. Let's work it that way. Let's bring him in. I'm inviting them to come in (with) Revis and everybody else he wants; as many or few as he wants. We'll have the whole team there, including our owner and the whole organization. Maybe that's how we'll get a solution," Ryan added. "Everybody wants a solution so let's figure out a solution. Maybe this is the way." Either way, Coach Ryan knows that without Revis on the field, his left corner will most likely be filled by a rookie. In the draft, the franchise selected Boise State CB Kyle Wilson with their first round pick. The second round netted Vladimir Ducasse, a top prospect offensive lineman. The team signed 4th round pick RB Joe McKnight and 5th round selection FB John Conner. Look for your New York Jets to again compete for the AFC Title and a shot at the Super Bowl.
